The Poem " BRIGHT LIGHTS "
Bright lights,
the bathroom seems
illuminated.
The little boy`s dread
seems to heighten
his senses.
Confused, alone,
he faces the babysitter
who draws him to her.
The sadness that lives
within her
coils, strikes
triumphs.
